I hope you got a good deal on the 96 as I think neither the dealer or the tire supplier via the dealer will help much on 3 year old tires. However if your state has a "implied merchantablity" law, then you may be able to force some kind of help via it. Basically it means the product perform as intended, kinda depends upon the understanding when you purchased an unsold model. If it was sold, as is, where is, you are probably stuck. I know of nothing that will safely! seal the cracks in the tire sidewalls and would strongly consider new shoes for my ride. There seems to be a good mark up and maybe the dealer can be talking into sharing part of it via a discuount. With Fall coming on and if he has the tires in stock, a sale prices would make sense as they will be on their way to cracks by next spring and he will have had his money tied up in inventory. Maybe you can get a small discount and free mount and balance. I've struggled with my rear tire and would sure like to find someone to do t next one. Max
